Burke Hales to speak at LWVLC February 17 membership meeting.

Professor Burke Hales, Chief Scientist of the

PacWave wave-energy testing facility, will speak at our February (Zoom) meeting about PacWave. Dr. Hales is a Professor at the College of Earth, Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University. His specialty is biogeochemical oceanography.

Dr. Hales holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington College of Engineering, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Oceanography from the University of Washington College of Oceanography.
